Alpine Armoring has unveiled its latest innovation in tactical mobility — the new Pit-Bull VXT® Tactical Armored Truck, blending next-level protection with real-world versatility for law enforcement, homeland security, and private security forces.
Built on a rugged Ford F-600 4×4 chassis and powered by a V8 turbo diesel engine, the Pit-Bull VXT is a pickup-style evolution of the proven Pit-Bull VX® SWAT/APC platform — but lighter, more agile, and adaptable to a wider range of missions.

Protection That Goes the Distance
With ballistic ratings up to A12, the VXT provides certified 360-degree defense against high-caliber threats, from 5.56mm and 7.62mm rounds to .50 caliber fire. The fully armored passenger compartment, multi-layered ballistic glass, and reinforced critical systems — like an armored fuel tank, battery, and exhaust — ensure occupants are shielded in the toughest environments.
A heavy-duty suspension and military-grade run-flat wheels make it equally at home in urban streets, rugged terrain, or rough off-road missions. Plus, its high fording capability allows teams to tackle flooded areas or unstable ground.
Tailored for Tactical and Civilian Use
Recognising diverse mission needs, Alpine Armoring offers the Pit-Bull VXT in two distinct configurations. The law enforcement model features rear-facing jump seats and gun ports for rapid tactical response, while the civilian version provides forward-facing bench seating that balances comfort with security.
Fred Khoroushi, President of Alpine Armoring, calls it the “pinnacle of tactical vehicle engineering” — the result of three decades of armoring expertise combined with the latest technology.
A Mobile Command Center on Wheels
Far beyond simple protection, the Pit-Bull VXT comes ready to serve as a full mobile command post. Standard features include high-definition cameras, night vision, two-way radios, secure gun racks, and multiple gun ports. Buyers can choose from more than twenty optional upgrades — from 360° LED lighting and crew monitors to PA systems, roof hatches, and infrared lighting.
With units in stock near Washington, D.C., Alpine Armoring invites law enforcement, security professionals, and qualified private buyers to see the Pit-Bull VXT up close — and test what next-generation tactical mobility looks like when protection meets performance.
