The Peruvian Air Force (FAP) is set to enhance its aeromedical evacuation and air transport capabilities with the arrival of a second Beechcraft 360C ambulance aircraft. The aircraft was formally handed over during a ceremony at Textron Aviation Inc. in the United States, with the Commander General of the FAP, Air General Carlos Chávez Cateriano, representing the National Government.

Acquired directly from the manufacturer without intermediaries, the aircraft meets the highest standards of safety and efficiency. It is specifically designed to provide rapid medical assistance and extend critical health services to remote areas across the country.
“In October 2024 we received our first ambulance aircraft, which has already saved more than 85 lives,” said General Chávez Cateriano. “With this second Beechcraft, we expand our fleet and strengthen our ability to reach communities on the coast, in the mountains and in the Amazon. We are very proud of this achievement.”
The aircraft will soon be ferried to Callao by Peruvian pilots and assigned to Air Group No. 8, where it will begin operations.
