Embraer will make its debut at MSPO, Poland’s premier international defence industry exhibition, with a focus on promoting the KC-390 Millennium multi-mission aircraft. The company will present its advanced tactical transport platform to Poland and regional stakeholders at Hall 1, Booth E18.
“We are excited to participate in MSPO for the first time. This prestigious event represents a valuable opportunity to strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation that unite us with our Polish partners. We regard Poland as a nation with a rich and distinguished aerospace heritage and as a vital member of NATO,” said Bosco da Costa Junior, President and CEO of Embraer Defense & Security.
Embraer is building a European ecosystem around the KC-390 that includes training, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and research and development. This initiative is designed to boost defense capabilities across Europe and promote interoperability among allied nations.
The KC-390 has already entered service with the Brazilian Air Force in 2019, the Portuguese Air Force in 2023 and the Hungarian Air Force in 2024. With a mission capability rate of 93% and mission completion rates above 99%, the aircraft has proven its reliability and versatility. To date, it has been selected by 11 air forces worldwide, including eight in Europe and seven NATO members.
Capable of carrying a payload of 26 tons, flying at speeds of 470 knots and operating from temporary or unpaved runways, the KC-390 is suited for a wide variety of missions. These include cargo and troop transport, aerial delivery, medical evacuation, search and rescue, firefighting and humanitarian operations. Configured with air-to-air refueling equipment, the aircraft has already demonstrated its ability to function as both a tanker and a receiver.
Embraer’s participation at MSPO underscores its strategic commitment to Europe and highlights the KC-390 Millennium as a modern, high-performance solution for NATO’s tactical airlift needs.
