Polish company FUBAR Aviation LTD has acquired two former Argentine Naval Aviation (Comando de Aviación Naval – CAN) Aermacchi MB339AAs that saw active service during the 1982 Falklands War. The aircraft are currently in Argentina awaiting shipment to Poland, where they will be restored to flying condition and showcased at airshows across Europe.

Photographs released by FUBAR show three aircraft—serials 0762/4-A-111, 0766/4-A-115, and 7694/A-118. According to the company, only two will be restored and flown, while the fate of the third remains unclear. FUBAR also plans to offer flight experiences in the jets once they are operational.
Interestingly, the same three serials were last reported by the trusted Scramble database as being stored at Brazoria Airport in Houston, Texas. However, FUBAR confirms that two are in Argentina and will soon make the journey to Poland.
Argentina originally operated ten MB339s, all of which have since been retired. Two are already preserved in Europe, including examples on display in Doncaster, UK.
Based in Warsaw, FUBAR Aviation specialises in restoring and operating classic jet warbirds, particularly MiG aircraft. Their fleet includes a Lim-2, Lim-5, MiG-15bis, MiG-15UTI, and a MiG-17F. The company regularly performs at airshows and offers familiarisation flights in its aircraft.
