In a significant boost to U.S. Army readiness and fleet modernisation, Oshkosh Defense has secured a three-year contract extension for the production of its Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles A2 (FMTV A2). The updated agreement ensures continued orders through February 2028, including delivery of three critical Low Velocity Air Drop (LVAD) variants.

The FMTV A2 platform forms the logistical backbone of the U.S. Army’s medium vehicle fleet, offering enhanced payload capacity, increased protection, and superior mobility.
